LEARN HOW DEMOCRACY REFORMS BECOME LAW IN CONNECTICUT
Twenty-four states, including Connecticut, do not feature a process for citizen-led ballot initiatives. This means that a state legislator must sponsor a bill in order for it to be voted on to become law. This requires you to be in relationship with your state legislatures. The Center for Public Integrity observed in 2020 that Connecticut has among the most restrictive voting laws outside of the south. Add your name to urge Connecticut lawmakers to endorse, prioritize and enact three key voting freedoms solutions during the 2022 legislative session.
